With the outdoor site busier than ever due to the construction of the future Place du Quartier des spectacles, the various Francos Worlds found themselves more commingled than ever. For example, the Zone Molson Dry was located on the Clark parking lot, the Monde urbain Vidéotron moved to the northeastern esplanade of Place des Arts, while Place Loto Québec was found at Parc Fred Barry. And then there's this year's arrival of Espace vert Desjardins on the Place des Arts esplanade, with its special focus on the environment!

A new addition this year, the Grande roue des Francos le Lait was knockout success offering rides to close to 30,000 friends, families and fans who enjoyed a one-of-a-kind view of the city. With its iconic status, this new Francos favourite became the signature visual element of a 20th anniversary turning brightly towards the future.

Music : L'été by 3 gars su'l sofa, with the pleasant authorisation of Pixelia.

The Francos also had a new, highly original performance venue. In order to offer even more concerts to the many Francos fans, the Pavillon Air Transat joined the other halls on the program. With its Spiegel Tent-style and reflecting the old Magic Mirrors of the 19th century, this new big-top/hall, which is 100% dismountable and imported from Europe by boat, stood at the corner of De Maisonneuve and De Bleury streets.
